Gastonia – Eugene "Gene" Clark, 76, passed away on April 3, 2017 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
Gene was born in Gaston County on December 15, 1940 to the late Claude and Edna Emory Clark. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Jerry Clark. Gene enjoyed serving God and going to church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a GOOD MAN!!!
Left to cherish his memories include wife of 48 years, Judy Costner Clark, sons David Clark (Kimberly) of Gastonia, Brian Clark (Nicole) of Kings Mt.; grandchildren Charity, Kendall and Chase Clark, Trevor Bell; brother Larry Clark (Joyce)
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 5th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
A Celebration of life service 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 6th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Chuck Whiten and Reverend Ron Pendleton officiating.
Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park with the releasing of the doves.
