Dallas- Ethel Jarrell Haas, 93 went home to be with her Heavenly Father May 10, 2013 at Peak Resources.
She was a native of Gaston County NC, born April 25, 1920 to the late Zoeanna and Avery Jarrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 60 years, Marshall James Haas who died in 1999, her son and daughter- n -law , Mervin and Tobi Haas, a granddaughter Cindy Haas, and 2 brothers, Johnny and Conley Jarrell, 4 sisters, Bessie, Alma, Flossie and Mamie
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Ethel was a member of the Union Road Church of God and a homemaker.
Survivors include his children, Lanny Haas, Ronnie Haas and wife Gail, Janice Friday and husband Earl all of Dallas. 1 brother Junior Jarrell of Dallas; 10 grandchildren, Todd, Barry, Ginger, Kim, Brian, Randy, Kevin, Shane, Butch, III and Angie;
22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm, Monday prior to the service and other times at the home of Ronnie and Gail, 704 Colt Thornburg Road, Dallas
Celebration of Life service will be 2:00pm Monday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Collins officiating.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Todd Haas, Barry Haas, Brian Haas, Randy Haas, Kevin Haas, Shane Haas, Butch Friday, III
