Esther Elizabeth Love Davis

Gastonia – Esther Elizabeth Love Davis, 74, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2014 at Courtland Terrace surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Fairfield County, SC, on September 2, 1940 to the late Clyde and Exie Lee Langley Love. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Virginia Love
Esther was a member of the Reformation Orthodox Presbyterian Church and also a member of the Myrtle School Club. She retired from Avery Dennison as an Administrate Assistant.
She enjoyed knitting, needle point and giving cards for special occasions. Esther was a very thoughtful person and loved visiting and talking with people.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Beth Anne Davis Stephens (Zane) of Youngsville, NC;
Scott Evans Davis (Marsha Laney) of Sherrills Ford, NC;
Timothy Shaun Davis (Robyn Gamble) of Gastonia;
Grandchildren Wesley Beau Robinson, Leslie Dawn Robinson, Anna Aylss Davis, Adam Michael Davis, Matthew Allen Davis, Audrey Elizabeth Davis, Kathryn Diane Davis and Benjamin Luke Davis; Sisters, Mary Love Wall and Mildred Love Tate; loving father of the children, Reginald Evans Davis; Special friend and caregiver, Tina Rowland
Funeral service will be Saturday, December 6th, 2014 at 3:00 pm. at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Fowler officiating
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 pm prior to the service and other times at the home of Tim and Robyn, 1627 Laurel Lane, Gastonia
Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Garden of Four Seasons
