Essie Elizabeth Pridemore Bolding

Kings Mountain-Essie Elizabeth Pridemore Bolding, 87 of Kings Mountain passed away peacefully August 9, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was a native of Pickens, SC, born August 4, 1926 to the late Ray Elmer and Lillie Mae Moody Pridemore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 69 years, Larry Edward Bolding, who died April 3, 2012; and a son Stephen David Bolding, several grandchildren, a brother Ray Ernest and a sister Joyce Ann.
Essie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Crowders Mountain Baptist Church. She was an avid fisherman, a nurse's aid for many years and loved to sing around the house.
Survivors include her children Paul and wife Linda of Cartersville, GA, Jerry and wife Catherine of Gastonia, Rebecca Hawkins and husband Ronnie of Dallas, Janet Burrell and husband Jim of Clover, SC, Alice Bolding of Kings Mountain, Dennis Bolding of Gastonia, Karyn King and Bobby of Enoree, SC; twenty nine grandchildren, sixty great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren; and a sister Ruby Howell; special friends Bertie Frankum and Janie Weant.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:30pm Sunday at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home
Celebration of life services will be 1:30 pm Monday at the First Assembly of God, 777 South Myrtle School Road, Gastonia with Reverend Larry Laws officiating.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park with the Releasing of the Doves
