Gastonia- Eloise Secrest Gibbs, 84, went to be with our Lord on Monday, June 16th 2014.
Eloise was born in Mecklenburg County, on January 14, 1930 to the late Zeb Vance and Connie Jackson Crowell Secrest.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 60 years years, Edgar B. Gibbs.
She was a lifelong resident of Gaston County and worked for Burlington Industries in Spinning for (26) years. She was a member of East Garrison Baptist Church.
A Graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, June 18th, 2014 at Gaston Memorial Park, Singing Tower 4 section with Reverend Jack Fleming officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 pm at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
