Dallas- Ellen Hatchell McCall, 84 passed away peacefully on September 20, 2016 at her residence.
She was born in Hartsville, South Carolina on June 7, 1932 to the late Frank and Rosebud Hatchell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.
Ellen was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir. She received her nursing degree from Presbyterian School of Nursing and later retired as an RN at Gaston Memorial Hospital in 1995.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband of 61 years Joe D. McCall; her daughters, Laura McCall, Carol McCall-Davis (Missie); grandchildren, Alison McCall-Davis, Rebecca McCall-Davis and Erin McCall-Davis.
Family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Reverend Caroll Flack officiating.
Interment will follow at Evergreen A Quiet Place, Belmont
