Gastonia – Eleanor Dennis Lollis, 74 passed away peacefully on August 19, 2017 at
Carolinas Medical Center- Main.
She was born in Gaston County on September 12, 1942 to the late William Lee and Lucille G. Dennis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Wayne Lollis. She was a member of Linwood Church of God. Eleanor retired from the Gaston County School System.
Left to cherish her memories includes her loving children Patrick Lollis and Meredith Oliver
A time of remembrance for family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 26th at Jackson's Cafeteria from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. There will be a reserved room for the Lollis family during this time to share a meal together as well as sharing memories.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:30 p.m., at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home prior to the Graveside Service to follow at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 28th at Gaston Memorial Park with the releasing of the doves.
