Mt. Holly – Edith Sue Lethcoe Burnett, 87 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 28, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Etowah, Tennessee on June 5, 1931 to the late Della Moss Lethcoe and Tipton Lethcoe. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Marion "Coby" Burnett, a son Andy Lee Burnett, several brothers and sisters.
She was a member of River of Life Full Gospel Church, Stanley, NC.
Left to cherish her memories includes her children, Marion Junior Burnett (Linda), Jimmy Wayne "Bo" Burnett (Pat), Mary Ann Hilton (Fred), Glenda Morgan, Tammy Faye Harris (Junior); 18 grandchildren and over 40 great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 30 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 1 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Judd Burnett and Reverend Wayne Philbeck officiating.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Gardens with the releasing of the doves.Pallbearers will be Wayne Burnett, Chris Burnett, Johnny Burnett,
John Morgan, Phillip Morgan and Joey Harris
The family gathering will be at 104 Trexler Avenue, Mt. Holly, NC
