Clover, SC Eddie Doss, 72 of 1016 David Kelly Circle, Clover, SC passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at his residence.
He was a native of Affinity, WVA, born September 25, 1939 to the late Harold Douglas and Francis Wolfe Doss.
Eddie was a retired Railroad Consultant/Supervisor; and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He was survived by his wife of 40 years Ethel Mae Erwin 'Nook' Doss;
His children, Matthew and Douglas Doss of Elyria, Ohio; Pamela Anne Zak and husband Bret of Elyria, Ohio; Misty Doss Mitchell and husband Neal of Clover, SC; Kristy Doss-Goux and husband Bryan of Myrtle Beach, SC;
Brother Harold Doss and wife Linda of Gastonia, NC;
and a sister Barbara Lynn Kirby and husband Leon of Dallas, NC;
Grandchildren, Ashley Taulbee, Dustin Taulbee, Blake Adams, Brandon Adams, Britton Adams, and step-grandchildren Bret Zak, Jr,
Garrett and Dylan Mitchell
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Saturday, October 8, at the funeral home
Celebration of Life service will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Richard Doss officiating
Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, 1774 Filbert Hwy,York, SC
with Military Honors by the SC National Honor Guard
