Belmont – Duayne Franklin Comer, 69, passed away suddenly on August 9, 2021.
He was a native of Columbia, South Carolina born on February 15, 1952 to the late Thomas E. and Faye Carroll Comer. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a nephew Luke (who was a triplet to Brad and Ryan).
Duayne was a proud graduate of Eau Claire High School in Columbia, SC. He was a member of the City Church; he loved his church and enjoyed spending time with his church family.
He loved the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Braves, South Carolina Gamecocks and NASCAR. In his early days, he would often take his daughter fishing.
Left to cherish his memories includes his daughters, Erin Comer and Keri Comer; his brother, Eddie and wife Betsy Comer; his sister, Diane C. and husband Joe Hill; a niece, Lauren and nephews, Brad and Ryan.
