Dovie R. Teague

Gastonia- Dovie Rowland Teague, 65, of 105 E. Ruby Avenue, Gastonia died September 7, 2009 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Cherokee County, born November 16, 1943 to the late Royal Edward and Mary Ruth Brazwell Rowland
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Blane Teague, who served in the Korean War, a granddaughter, Brandy Welch,
Brothers, George, Gene, Boone and Deward Rowland,
Sister, Ruby Shepherd
Dovie worked at the Waffle House for over 30 years.

Survivors include her children: Eddie and Tammie Teague, Sr., Joseph Teague and Kim Tilley, Harold and Susan Teague, Sherry Teague and Daniel Dean, Robin Hambright, Wendy and Derek Black
Brother: Steve Rowland
Sisters: Dorothy Ramsey, Linda Rowland, Wanda Campbell and Ruby Rowland
Nineteen Grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren

A Funeral service will be 2:00 pm-Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leo Kuykendall officiating
Family will receive friends 6-8 Tuesday, September 8 at the funeral home
Interment will be at Westview Gardens Cemetery
