Gastonia – Doris Millicent Robinson, 86, entered into her Heavenly Home on July 15, 2015.
She was born in London, England on February 3, 1929 to the late Walter William and Florence Hales Davies.
Doris was a member of Firestone Wesleyan Church and retired from the Gaston Country Club.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jake Robinson, brothers Bill, Walter, and Howard Davies; sister Marjorie Pitts.
Survivors include her children, Mariann Jackson (Mitch); Mike Edwards (Hiroko), and Jimmy Edwards; companion of many years, Don DeHerradora; twin brother Raymond Davies of Australia and Richard Davies of Canada; Six Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren
Funeral Service will be held 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 18th at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with
Reverend Wes Brown officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be 2:00 – 3:00 pm prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park
