Donald Lee Carpenter

Donald Lee Carpenter, 85, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025 at The Greens in Gastonia, North Carolina.

He was born in Gaston County, North Carolina, on December 8, 1939 to the late Boggie and Frances Carpenter. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruby Carpenter; Vernon Carpenter; and sister, Mildred Wall.

Don was a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing and traveling and was a carpenter by trade as well as in name. Don will be remembered as an all-around good man by all of those that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Daisy Carpenter; brother-in-law, David Wall; and many nieces and nephews.

Services for Mr. Carpenter will be private at a later date.
