Bessemer City – Dolly Patterson Hiott, 45 passed away peacefully at her home on March 10, 2021.
She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on November 14, 1975 to the late J. B. Patterson and Thelma Mae Pruitt Patterson.
Dolly enjoyed working in banking most of her life; she also enjoyed serving in nursing and teaching. She was a loving wife, mother and maw maw and friend to all. She was a very proud maw maw to Joshua "Junior". Dolly backed the BLUE; she had many adopted children that called her mama. She was an avid Trump 2024 fan.
Survivors include her loving husband Judson Hiott; her beloved son Blake Hiott (Hanna Anders) and their son Joshua Blake Hiott Jr.; brothers, Bailey Henderson and Randy Shirley; aunt, Darlene Henderson and many wonderful friends. I love you more times infinity "shoot for the moon if you miss it you will land among the stars"!
Visitation for family and friends will be 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 15th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with the Celebration of Life Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Sidney Norton officiating.
Interment will follow at Westview Gardens Cemetery with the releasing of the doves.
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, if you feel the need to stay home, a card or phone call to the family will be appreciated.
