Gastonia-Diane Emola Bates, 46, of 2015 Hughes Avenue, died July 17, 2010 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Ogden, Utah, born April 23, 1964 to Nancy Lowe Piper and the late Melvin Piper. She worked at Carowinds, Charlotte.
Survivors include her mother, Nancy Lowe Piper, a son, Brackon Suiter of Utah, two daughters, Stephanie Suiter and Kylee Bates both of Utah, Two brothers, Rex Piper of Maudlin, SC and Eric Piper of Utah; two sisters, Barbara Olson of Utah and Cindy Piper of Montana; One Grandchild
A Celebration of Life Service will be at a later date.
