Kings Mountain-Denver Eugene Buckley, 61 of Kings Mountain passed away May 4, 2013.

He was a native of Charleston, WVA, born November 1, 1951 to the late Denver Clinton and Betty Walker Buckley.

Denver was retired from Freightliner, Mt. Holly with over 25 years of service. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in the U.S. Air National Guard in Kanawha County and in the Army reserve, Hampton, VA.
Survivors include his wife of Teresa "Terrie" Buckley; his children Dawn (Tony) Gulledge, Christina Walls, Monica (Matt) Tashjian, Joseph (Jennifer) Buckley; Stepchildren Jerry Mauney, Btittany Mauney, Tammy (Dennis) Burgess; grandchildren, Lacie and Aaron Hall, Savanna and Zachary Walls, Chance and Jaci Buckley, and Claire Tashjian; 7 great grandchildren Connor Mauney, Camron, Lathan and Mason McCurry, Trey, Kristen and Alex Burgess; 7 step grandchildren; sisters Marilyn Davison, JoAnn (Rodney), Parham, brothers Jack (Cherly) Buckley, Joseph (Sharon) Buckley;
a special little companion Smokey his dog.
Numerous cousins, nephews and nieces

A Graveside service will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, May 8 at Gaston Memorial Park, Dogwood Section, 1200 South New Hope Road, Gastonia,NC with military honors by the Gaston County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 pm prior to the service at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
