Bessemer City- Denise Bridges, 56 of 303 S. 12th Street, went home to be with the Lord September 11, 2010 at Gaston Memorial Hospital
She was a native of Gaston County, born November 9, 1953 to the late Elmo and Vertie Lee Jeanette Young Bridges
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Cotton Connard,
A grandson, Lee Lee and a sister, Teresa Bridges
Survivors include her children: Christi Truesdale, Robin and Kim Connard all of Bessemer City;
Grandchildren: Robert Truesdale, Zach Glenn, and Dustin Harris
Brothers: Ronald and Jeff Bridges; Sister, Cathy Black and husband Donnie
Special niece, Jada Smith and husband John, nephews and niece: Shaun, Shad and Brandt Black, Tosha and Jeffrey Bridges
A Celebration of Life service will be 6:00 until 8:00pm Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at her residence.
Interment will be private
