Gastonia 'Deborah 'Debbie' Ann Sliger passed away March 10, 2012 after a courageous battle with life. Debbie passed peacefully in the presence of her daughter, brother and other loved ones at Gaston Memorial Hospital. Debbie was born in Charlotte, NC and was a resident of Dallas, NC.
She was one of four children born to the late Roy and Doris Furr Robinson and was the lifetime love of C.R. Wingate for over 42 years.
Debbie will forever be remembered by her beloved brother Roger Robinson and wife Michelle, loving sisters Joyce Dooley and Rhonda Lynn Ray, her precious daughters Lisa Huffman and partner Tina Erwin and Wendy Lambert, treasured grand children Jamie, Jermey, Joseph, Samantha, Kristen. Great grandchildren Jermey Jr., Demi.
She also had many countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her.
Debbie was a special lady that marched to the beat of her own drum.
