She was born in Gaston County on September 11, 1956. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Robert Bennett "Benny" Gunter and a niece, Kaley Falls.
Debbie was a barber most of her life. She enjoyed working in the yard, gardening and playing with her dogs. She also enjoyed helping others and spending time with her family.
Survived by her sons, Adam Bennett Gunter and William Chase Gunter; her parents, Betty Hudson Falls and Bill Falls; brothers Fred Falls and wife Karen, Eddie Falls and companion Rex Cameron, and Flub Falls; sisters Beverly Woodall and husband Don, Lori Griffing and husband Bill; nieces and nephews Madison, Owen and Donnie Ray Woodall, Ava and Austin Griffing; great nephews Mason, Logan and Colton.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 18th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.
