Deborah Whitaker Firman

Deborah Whitaker Firman, 72, passed away peacefully at his Robin Johnson House on August 10, 2024.  

She was born in Gaston County on February 26, 1952 to the late Floyd H. Whitaker and Alene Dorothy Eaker Whitaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Gary Firman. 

Deborah enjoyed cruises with her husband, Gary, shopping and most of all she loved to read. She also enjoyed oldie Goldie music and chocolate.

 She is survived by her sister, Teresa Whitaker Hyde (Mark), brother, Terry Whitaker (Sheila) niece and caregiver, Ashlee Hyde White (Bob), other wonderful nieces, Paige Hyde Hardin (James), Shaey Whitaker (Steve), Shannon Whitaker.
