Gastonia – Clyde Johnny "C.J." Hall, 68 passed away peacefully on March 3, 2017 at Robin Johnson House.
He was a native of Gaston County, son of the late O.B. Hall and Laura Hall. Clyde enjoyed spending time with his family; he loved spending time at the ocean, fishing and baseball.
Clyde and Debbie were married 43 years. They lived together in happiness, they rest together in peace.
Deborah Fortenberry Hall, 62 passed away March 15, 2017 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Mecklenburg County, born to the late Wayman Fortenberry and Betty Traywick Phillips. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, shopping and listening to preaching on the radio. Debbie loved the Lord!!!
Left to cherish their memories include their daughters Ashley Hall and Amanda Silver and husband Jonathan Silver; Grandchildren Parker Bell, Ava Hudson, Emilee, Savannah and Gracey Silver
C.J. has a brother Joe Hall and sister Bea Hall. He had many wonderful nieces and nephews..
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 24th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.
Celebration of life services for C.J. and Debbie will be 12 Noon, Saturday, March 25th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Evergreen A Quiet Place with the releasing of the doves.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Robin John House, c/o Gaston Hospice, P.O. Box 3984, Gastonia, N.C. 28054
