Gastonia- Sadie Dawn Summey Owens, 45 of Gastonia went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on January 4, 2014 at her residence.
She was born June 5, 1968 in Gastonia, daughter of Carroll Loyd Summey and Kathie Dunn Summey.
Mrs Owens attended Open Bible Assembly of Dallas.
She graduated from Ashbrook High School and was a cheerleader at Christian School. After high school she attended college, where she studied Nursing.
She is preceded in death by her sister Carol Nicole Summey Walker, both grandfathers, Erskine Thomas Summey, Sr and Doyle Benjamin Dunn.
Survivors include her daughter Jennifer Lee Amber Owens;
her parents, Carroll Loyd Summey and Kathie Dunn Summey; Grandmothers, Elizabeth Lutz Summey and Sadie Dunn Evans;
step grandfather, Edward Cain Evans
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00pm at Open Bible Assembly, Jenkins Street, Dallas
Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00pm Monday at Open Bible Assembly, Jenkins Street, Dallas
