She was a native of Gaston County, born October 30, 1966 to Jerry P Jenkins, Sr and Brenda Gault Jenkins
Dawn worked as an teacher in Daycare and later worked for Gastonia Pediatric Asso. as an medical secretary.
She was preceded in death by her brother Jerry 'Jay" Jenkins, Jr; her grandparents Margie B Evans and Pedie Jenkins, Issac K and Mabel Gault, and a aunt Peggy Moss
She was a member of the Bread of Life Fellowship, Clover, SC
Survivor includes her son, Cody J Jenkins, and fianc'e Ashley Dawn Cobb of Gastonia; a daughter, Stacey Marie Jenkins of Gastonia;
her parents Jerry P and Brenda Gault Jenkins, Sr of Gastonia;
adopted sister Kathleen Frary and Nick Browning

The family will receive friends 7:00 until 9:00p Friday at the funeral home
Funeral service will be 1:00pm Saturday, July 21 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Lawing officiating
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Pallbearers will be Cody Jay Jenkins, Tony Torrence, Nick Browing, Jeff Switzer, Jerry Gault, Justin Cobb, Eddie Gault, Joey Gault, Jarrett Gault, Bryan Hoffman and Hobart Jenkins
