Gastonia – Jimmy David Wright, 48, passed away on Sunday, August 11th at Accordius Healthcare of Charlotte.
He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 7, 1971 to Jimmy Carl and Vickey Joyce Rudd Wright.
He is survived by his sons, David Alexander Wright of Gastonia and Jacob Paul Wright of Lincolnton; grandsons, Adam Wright and Jacob Wright; his parents, Jimmy and Vickey Wright of Gastonia; brothers, Jimmy "Wayne" Wright (Jeannie) of Blacksburg, SC and Carl "Matthew" Wright of Gastonia; sisters, Regina Norris of Gastonia; Rhonda Akers (Richard) of Bessemer City and Vickey Lynn Hale (Justin) of Kings Mountain; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 16th at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home, 2916 Union Road, Gastonia, NC. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.
