Gastonia-David Shawn Rhyne, 38, passed on September 24, 2016 at home.
He was born in Gaston County on August 3, 1978 to Charles Rhyne and the late Pamela Corley.
David loved the beach and bowling and was looking forward to going back to work in the medical field. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his parents, Doodle and Sissy Rhyne; brothers, Jason Barker, Bo and Michael Rhyne (Rachel); sister, Kym Weathers Smith
Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
Service will be Friday, September 30th at 3:00 p.m. at One Accord Independent, 115 West Ridge Street, Gastonia, NC 28052 with Pastor Keith Walker officiating.
