Dallas – Harold David Byrd - 76, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2019 at Robin Johnson House with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Madison, TN on September 19, 1943 to the late Raymond B. and Elizabeth C. Byrd. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Patsy Hayes and Jerry Hayes.

David was a graduate of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY. He was an active member of First United Methodist Church-Dallas where he served as Chairman of Trustees for many years. He was the owner of Byrd Construction Company for over 35 years. He was truly a gifted builder and was passionate about each and every home he built or remodeled. David was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish his memories includes his wife of 44 years, Deborah "Deb" Hannon Byrd; daughter and son-in-law, April Elizabeth Byrd Bumgarner and husband Chris; son, Kelly David Byrd; grandchildren, Peyton Bumgarner, Dalton Bumgarner and Levi David Byrd;
brother and sister-in-law, James "Jim" Byrd and wife and Rena; sister-in-law, Carol H. Vincent and Harvey; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, October 20, 2019 1:00 – 2:30 p.m., at First United Methodist Church with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 3:00 p.m., with Reverend Billy Ervin officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Christian Fellowship Sunday School Class
