Dallas- Daniel John McCaskill, Jr., 52 of Dallas passed away peacefully September 19, 2012 at Gaston Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was a native of Gaston County, born march 10, 1960 to the late Daniel John and Myrtle Bostic McCaskill.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Zelma McCaskill and Susan Powell.
He was a pool technician for Carolinas' Pool & Spa;
Survivors include his children, Geri McAbee and husband Jason of Mooresboro, NC; and Chase Daniel John McCaskill of Gastonia;
Three Grandsons, Judson, Daniel John and Mason McAbee
Two sisters, Merlene Chasteen of Clover, SC;
Christine Downs and husband Dayl of Dallas;
Several nieces and nephews
Celebration of life service will be 11:00am, Saturday, September 22 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Hoyle officiating.
The family will receive friends 1 hr prior to the service
Interment will be private
