Dana Darlene Lowe

Dallas - Dana Lowe, 59, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 after a long battle with her health.

Dana was born in Gaston County on October 26, 1965 to the late Patsy Whisnant Crocker and Tony Paul Lowe. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Tony Paul Lowe, Jr and sister, Kimberly Dawn “Cookie” Lowe. aunt, Judy Whisnant Edwards and her husband Bobby Edwards, her grandmothers, Pearl Rash, Loraine Arrendale Upchurch.

Dana loved country music, her radio, and spending time with her family, she was a true angel always had a big smile on her face, she loved everyone. She enjoyed her family and friends.

Dana is survived by her family, her sister, Paula Rose Lowe, Paula’s children, Anthony Keith Boyd, II, Sylvia Boyd, Craig Steven Crocker and Paula Nicole Ensley; nieces and nephew Jerome Conyers, Meriah Worthy, Ansley Ross and Devon Ross; special friends Brenda Coleman and Michelle Webb; nieces, nephews and cousins; Danny Whisnant. Bobby Whisnant, Summer Lowe, Brandy Lowe, her aunt, Rita Byrd.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 25, 2024 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Mike Criswell officiating. Interment will follow at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joy Flowers, Devon Ross, Jerome Conyers, Brandon Alexander and Craig Steven Crocker.
