Lincolnton- Candice Dana Albright Buchanan, 45, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2018 at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House, Huntersville.
She was born in Gaston County on December 1, 1972 to Michael and Roseanne
Boyter Albright.
She attended Plainview Baptist Church. Dana loved animals; she especially enjoyed her dogs, chickens, goats and horses. Dana also loved to cook, she was a great cook! She could make healthy food taste good and helped many people find a healthy lifestyle through her years of working as a nutritionist at Carolinas Medical Center. Dana worked with the Relay for Life along with a good friend Elton Wallace. She never met a stranger and was a friend to many. Most of all, she enjoyed being a grandmother to Eliza. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend who will be greatly missed! Dana had a servant's heart and found joy in helping others.
Left to cherish her memories includes her children Rachelle (Ethan) Pond, Jacob Buchanan; parents, Mike and Roseanne Albright; granddaughter, Eliza Pond;
Dana's companion Jason Moody;
brothers, Donovan (Lucinda) Albright and their son Colton, Aaron Albright and Jennifer Albright and their daughter, Aubrey; step-children, Kurtis and Alicia Buchanan
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m., Saturday, June 30th in the Family Life Center prior to the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. at Plainview Baptist Church, 3640 Dallas High Shoals Highway, Dallas, NC with Reverend Mark Hovis officiating. In honor of celebrating Dana, please dress in causal colorful attire.
