Dan B. Rhyne

Gastonia-Dan Byerly Rhyne, Jr., 43 of 115 Mandel Drive of Gastonia went home to be with the Lord April 11, 2011 at Washington Center Hospital, Washington, DC. He was a native of Gaston County, born January 23, 1968 to Dan Byerly Rhyne, Sr and Alice Shelton Rhyne.
He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church for over 21 years. Dan worked for PSNC Energy for over 23 years. He loved deer hunting and fishing. He was avid sports lover of all types, especially the Carolina Tarheels. Dan loved life, people and his children.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Connie Henderson Rhyne; his children, Blake Rhyne and Madison Rhyne;
his parents, Dan B. and Alice S Rhyne of Dallas;
and one sister, Marie Rhyne of Charlotte
The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Friday, April 15 at First Free Will Baptist Church, 2316 Union Road, Gastonia
Celebration of Life service will be 10:00 am Saturday, April 16, 2011
at First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. John Gibbs and Dr. Randal Sawyer officiating
Pallbearers will be his Men's One Sunday School Class
Honorary pallbearers will be his PSNC Energy family
Interment will be at a later date
