Curtis W Gulledge

Gastonia – Curtis W. Gulledge, 71, passed away on August 23, 2022 at his residence.

Curt was born in Mecklenburg County on December 12, 1950 to the late Charlie and Mable Gulledge. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 34 years, Becky Gulledge; brother, Jerry Gulledge; and his sister, Linda Smith.

Curt enjoyed watching NASCAR, listening to the Beatles, collecting comic books, old cars, watching classic movies, and sitting outside. Most of all he loved his family and has made many happy memories with them.  

Left to cherish his memory is his sisters, Janice Bullard and Pat Gulledge; sisters-in-law, Gina Gulledge and Barbara Auten; nieces, Amanda Bullard and her son Elijah, Brooke Taylor, and Ashley Gulledge; and nephew, Justin Smith; brother-in-law, Donnie Phillips.

The family will receive friends at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home, Saturday August 27, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Withers and Whisenant Chapel with Pastor Dale Lawing Officiating. Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
