Clover, SC – Crystal Melinda "Doodle" Haney Costner, 54 passed away peacefully on February 25, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Gaston County on April 18, 1963 to the late Walter Eugene Haney and Carolyn Thomas Haney.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed!
Crystal was a Clover School District driver and a beautician. She attended Sandy Plains Baptist Church. She loved doing hair for the elderly and spending time with her kids on the bus and her grandchildren.
Crystal enjoyed crafts and floral arrangements. She loved to be with friends and was a friend to many.
Left to cherish her memories includes her husband of 35 years, Danny Costner, her son, Matt Costner; her grandchildren, Chelsey and Caleb; brother, Lawrence Haney, sisters Teresa (Jess) Reading, Angie (Tim) Skidmore; special nieces Toscha, Haley and Mallory; aunts, Nancy Solesbee and Judy Petty; brother in law Mark (Shirley) Costner; special friend Barbara Beach and her beloved dog Sadie
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 27th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Celebration of Life Service will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 28th at Sandy Plains Baptist Church, 5323 Union Road with Mark Costner and Reverend Benjamin Glaser officiating
Interment will be at Sandy Plains Baptist Church Cemetery
