Clara M. Sayles

Clara Mae Sayles, 79 of Fairview, NC passed away November 20 at the home of her niece Connie Sales Hensley in Clover, where she had lived for the past year because of declining health.
She was born March 8, 1933 in Buncombe County, NC

Clara loved to travel visiting many places and countries. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed the last year porch sitting with her niece's dogs Lottie and Annie.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents-Ethel Nesbitt Sales and Horace Sales, sister Wilma Sales Whitaker, brother- Homer Ray, Brantley and Joseph Sales, brother in law, Fred Lyda, sister in law Jessie Sales.

Clara is survived by her sisters, Jean Miller and husband Ray, Phyllis Lyda, brothers; twin Clark and and wife Katherine Sales, Henry Sales, sister in law Louise Sales. She has many nieces and nephews including great and great great.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday at Cane Creek Cemetery in Fairview with Dr. Stephen Hensley conducting the service. Nephews will serve as Pallbearers.
