Dallas- Cleatus Jerome "CJ" Adair, 73 passed away peacefully on June 13, 2016 at the Robin Johnson House.
He was a native of Gaston County, born January 6, 1943 to the late James Elliott Adair and Callie Grindstaff Kelso.
CJ was a US Marine veteran and had worked as a welder most of his life.
Survivors include his daughter, Tress Lovingood, 2 grandsons; a sister Rita (Lawrence) Paysour, half-sister Susan Myers, 1 niece and 2 nephews.
