Cindy Lee McGaha

Cindy Lee McGaha, 67, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025 at her residence with her loving family by her side, 

She was born in Gaston County, North Carolina on April 26, 1957 to the late Walter and Dorothy McGaha. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, David McGaha and his wife, Blanche, Donnie McGaha, and Randy McGaha; and her sisters, Alice Cantrell, and Brenda McDowell. 

Cindy loved her cats and enjoyed watching classic movies and tv shows. She was artistic and like to draw and color and also enjoyed listening to music. Most of all, Cindy loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews. 

She is survived by her siblings, Michael McGaha, Tina Faile (Calvin), and Linda Bridges (Ron); niece, Brandy Lay; nephews, Scott McGaha (Rhonda), Shane McGaha, Jeff Cantrell, Jimmy Cantrell; great-nieces, Allie McGaha, Aliegha McGaha, Anna Lay, Ashley Lay, Amber Lay, and Abigail Lay; and her great-nephew, Austin McGaha. 

A special thank you to her niece, Brandy, who was her loving and dedicated caregiver. 

Services are private at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Gaston County or Carolina Caring (formerly, Gaston Hospice).
