Christine "Chris" Bess Bryson

Dallas- Christine "Chris" Bess Bryson, 78 of Dallas passed away January 12, 2014 at Carolina Care, Cherryville, surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Gaston County, born January 21, 1935 to the late William Andrew and Annie Jane Bess. She was preceded in death by her three brothers, William Andrew Bess, Jr., Carl David Bess and Troy Warren Bess, and a sister, Priscilla Bess.

Survivors include her children, Ricky Correll and wife Renee; Patricia Crow, Debbie Bryson Robinson and husband Mike, Cindy Bryson McLamb and husband Allen; and Seven Grandchildren Tammy Williams, Dana Whitesides, Brad Correll, K.C. Correll, Chris Roger, Lauren McLamb and Jordyn Robinson
Four Great Grandchildren, Cody Cochran, Madison Williams, Kyla Batchelor, Ethan Rogers
and a very special sister Shirley Jenkins and husband Ingram, of Biscoe, North Carolina. Many nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life service will be Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home, Reverend Shannon Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery with the Releasing of the Doves. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 -3:00 p.m. and at other times at the home of Cindy Bryson McLamb.
A heartfelt thank you for the special care provided by the nurses, CNA's and staff of Carolina Care of Cherryville.
