Charlotte Roberts Usery

Charlotte Roberts Usery, a cherished soul, graced this world with her warmth and kindness on December 26, 1978, in Sanilac, MI. She embarked on her journey through life with an open heart, spreading joy wherever she went. Most of her life was devoted to a career in health care, where her compassionate spirit allowed her to touch the lives of many. Charlotte's unwavering dedication and nurturing nature made her a beloved figure among her colleagues and patients alike.

Known for her loving demeanor, Charlotte was a devoted and loving mother, companion, daughter, granddaughter, and friend. Her proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly her beloved son, Jayson Usery, who was her greatest joy and source of pride. Jayson shared his life with Chantel Hughes, adding new dimensions of love and happiness to Charlotte's life.

Charlotte had a personality that radiated positivity. She loved life, always smiling and being happy. Her favorite pastimes included shopping and indulging in cooking shows, weaving these simple pleasures into her everyday routine. But perhaps nothing brought her more joy than the beach, a sanctuary where she could bask in the sun and relish the beauty of nature.

On January 24, 2025, Charlotte passed away peacefully at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. The void left in the hearts of those who loved her is immeasurable, but her memory will forever serve as a beacon of compassion and joy.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jayson Usery (Chantel Hughes); her father, Dan Roberts (Susan); her mother, Evelyn Sparrow Weaver; her grandmother, Cindy R Roberts; her loving companion, Melanie Clyde; her aunt, Debra Roberts (Daryl Bullis); brother, Jeremy Flint (Jennifer), along with their children, Madison Flint and Logan Flint. Aunt, Sherry Hudson; Charlotte also leaves behind her best friends since school, Amy Farrar, who shared countless memories with her.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her grandfather, Dan Julian Roberts, Sr., a loss that surely echoes in the hearts of those who knew and loved them both.

A visitation to celebrate Charlotte's life will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home and Cremation, located at 2916 Union Road, Gastonia, NC. This will be followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM, Thursday in the Chapel.

In every smile she shared and every moment spent with loved ones, Charlotte's spirit will continue to live on, reminding us all of the beauty of love, family, and friendship.
