Gastonia – Charlie James Stiles, 57, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the Robin Johnson House. He was born in Longview, Washington on March 19, 1961 to Allie Fair Kell Stiles and the late Charles William Stiles.
In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a sister Norma Jean Picklesimer.
Charlie was owner of AMJ Towing Service.
Charlie is survived by his wife Martha Ann Hughes Stiles; mother, Allie Stiles;
his children, Anthony and Jason Hughes, Billy Robbins, Emily Robbins, Jamie and Darlene Stiles; brothers Tommy(Rita) Stiles and William(Julie) Stiles; sisters, Ann (Mike) Fredell, Polly (Steve) Brown, Rose Mary Brooks, Donna (Michael) Short, Jeanette (Larry) Green; 11 grandchildren
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Living Hope Baptist Church, 609 Osceola Street, Gastonia, NC with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Danny Gardner officiating. Releasing of the Doves to follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be made to Martha Stiles, 2020 W. Davidson Avenue, Gastonia, NC 28052 to help with funeral expenses.
