Gastonia ' Charles Wesley 'Butch' Williams, 68 of 215 E. 8th Ave., passed away April 22, 2012 at his residence.
He was a native of Oceanside, California, born December 15, 1943 to the late Ruby Lankford Pope.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, W. O. and Ruby Lankford Pope, his wife Barbara Ann Williams, and a brother Henry Pope.
He was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from Tyco Electronics. He was a very loving father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his daughter Tracy Sanabia & husband Adrian, and one grandchild Charlie Ann Sanabia.
The family will receive 1:30 pm until 2:30pm, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Graveside Services will be at Gaston Memorial Park 3:00 pm Tuesday, April 24, 2012 with Rev Harold Wayne Holcombe officiating.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
The family would like to say thank you to a very special uncle Fernado Escalante, some other very special friends, Rosemary Brooks, Tashia Berry, Sarah Degenfelder.
