CHARLES FRANK STEELMAN
1924 -2015
Dallas – Charles "Frank" Steelman, 90, passed away on January 3, 2015 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Wilkes County on October 24, 1924 to the late John and Ethel McNeil Steelman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Gwyn, Johnny, Clyde, Bill and Bud Steelman, sisters, Gaynelle Clemmer and Betty Hongisto
Frank was a member of Hardin Community Baptist Church where he was a deacon, soft ball coach, and loved singing in the choir. He was very active in many areas of the church during his life time. Frank worked at Hardin Manufacturing and Creamline Dairy for many years before retiring. He was very loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 71 years, Maxine Friday Steelman; son, Ronnie Steelman and wife Tonya; granddaughters, April and Ashlyn Steelman and great grandchild, Ezra Davis; sister, Faye Costner and husband Bud; number of nieces and nephews
Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 6th at Hardin Community Baptist Church, 548 Hardin Rd., Dallas, NC with Reverend Clay Ledford and Reverend Fain Farmer officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service
Interment will follow at Hardin Community Baptist Church Cemetery
Pallbearers will be Wes Cloninger, Justin Cloninger, Scott Pasour, Daniel Burr, Dusty Farmer and Wess Pasour
