Charles L. Medley

Gastonia' Charles Lewis Medley, 68 of 210 Wedgewood Drive passed away peacefully April 9, 2011 at the Robin Johnson House. He was a native of Gaston County, born December 19, 1942 to the late Arden Millard and Allie Mae Frady Medley.
Charles was retired from Advance Auto Parts. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Charles Lewis Medley, Jr;
a brother Glenn Medley
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Sherry Lewis Medley
His children, Brandon Medley, Kim Castle, Kelly Norman and her husband Jeff, Kristi Cochran and her husband Joel;
one sister, Joan Creasman and her husband Johnny;
Grandchildren: Meaggan and Hunter Cochran, Michael and Chad Cline, Sean Ashwell, Garrett, Landen and Hallie Norman
Five Great Grandchildren
The family will receive friends 7-9 Monday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Graveside service will be 2:00 Tuesday at Gaston Memorial Park, Hillcrest Section with Pastor Roger Overton and John Creasman officiating.
