He was born in Gaston County on September 2, 1938 to the late Elmer and Pearl Robinson Henderson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Craig Henderson, brothers Kenneth, Edwin and Alton Butch Henderson.
Charles served in the U.S. Air Force and worked in retail.
Survivors include his daughters, Connie Rhyne and Chris Henderson Helms (Robert)
Grandchildren Amy Helms, Blake and Madison Rhyne
