Charles Allan Harrison

Charles Allan Harrison II, 75, passed away peacefully at his residence on July 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family and his beloved dogs. 

He was born in Mecklenburg County on May 14, 1949, to the late Charles Allan Harrison Sr. and Betty Warth Harrison. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Brown. 

Charles was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fly fishing. He loved to travel with his wife and family in their motorhome. Their favorite place to go was Marathon, FL in the beautiful Florida Keys. Most of all he loved his family and spending time making many happy memories with them to be cherished forever. 

Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Dale Kelly Harrison; children, Charles Allan Harrison III, Ryan Patrick Harrison, and Angela Lynn Harrison; brother, Rodger Harrison (Suyapa); sister, Jennifer Harrison Van Wie; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 

Family and friends will gather for visitation at 1:30 pm on Friday, August 2, 2024, and a memorial service to celebrate Charles’ life will follow at 2:00 pm at Connections Church, 304, McAdenville Road, Belmont NC, with Reverend Eddie McClure and Reverend Joe Gardin officiating.
