Charles Wilson Graham

Gastonia – Charles Wilson Graham, 89 went to be with the Lord on April 3, 2013 at Gaston Manor.
He was a native of Gaston County NC, born October 9, 1923 to the late Charles Walker and Eula Payne Graham.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, and his wife of 50 years, Helen Cullum Graham.
He was a loving husband, father and papa.
Charles was a member of McAdenville Wesleyan Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in WWII and Korean War.
He was also a proud member of the WWII Last Man Club and an avid Photographer.
Survivors include a son James "Ronnie" Graham and wife Carolyn of Mt. Airy, NC; and daughter, Vicky G. Lingerfelter and husband Mike of Maryville, TN;
Four grandchildren, Jeff Graham, Theresa Graham Emma, Keith Baldwin and Crystal Reese; Eight great grandchildren;
and a sister Maude Jenkins of Rome, GA.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Brian Matherlee officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday, April 5 at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, War Memorial I Section with military honors by the Gaston County Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Gaston County Honor Guard, c/o Joe Harris, 434 Jenny Street, Gastonia, NC 28054
