Clover, SC-Charles Garrison Dockery, 55 of 4412 River Oaks, Clover, SC passed away January 23, 2010 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Gaston County, born November 1, 1954 to the late Loyd and Willa Mae Beaver Dockery.
Charles was a graduate of Hunter Huss High School, where he held the state champion in wrestling. He was a member of Ridge Baptist Chruch, and was a self-employed roofer.
Survivors include his brothers: Daniel Dockery, Jerry Dockery and wife Patricia, Loyd Dockery, Jr and wife Joyce all of Gastonia; Sister: Janice Dillon and husband Michael of Galax, VA
Eleven Nieces and Nephews, several great nieces and nephews
Special Best friends: Mickey and Mary Crow, Chester Thompson and wife, Johnny Riddley and wife, and Danny Franklin
Funeral service will be 7:00 pm, Monday, January 25, 2010 at Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Chester Waters officiating
Family will receive friends 6:00 until 7:00 prior to the service
Graveside service will be at 1:00pm Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Swanson Cemetery, Shoals Creek, NC
Pallbearers will be Mark, Matthew, Scott, Joseph and Anthony Dockery, Todd Dillon
