Dallas- Charles William Dixon, 78 passed away peacefully on May 17, 2014 at the Robin Johnson House surrounded by his loving family.
He was a native of Cleveland County, born on February 10, 1936 to the late John and Verdie Cogdell Dixon.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Danny Dixon
Charles enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Louise Rhyne Dixon; children, Robin Lynn Dixon, Catherine Elizabeth Dixon, Charles Jacob "Butch" Dixon and wife Chrystal, Taffa Michelle Dixon and Brooklyn Sierra Dixon; Grandchildren, Brian, Dylan, Aly, Chloe, Trent, Alyssa, Tre and Robbie; and a brother Ronnie Dixon and a sister-in-law Marty Wilson
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service at 2:00pm, Tuesday, May20th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Pastor Fred Morrison officiating
Interment will follow in Hardin Baptist Cemetery
