Gastonia - Charles Yates Craft II, 50, passed away on June 2, 2017 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He was born in Gaston County and is the son of Charles Yates Craft and the late Katherine Williams Craft.
Mr. Craft was a U. S. Army veteran.
Mr. Craft is survived by his wife of 4 years, Melinda Ball Craft; father, Charles Yates Craft of Dallas; daughter, Kimberly Ann Craft of Gastonia; step-daughter, Danielle Sanchez(Ryan) of Winston-Salem; two sisters, Sandy Foster, Pam Picklesimer (Joe) of Dallas; one brother, Billy Craft (Leslie) of Dallas; three grandchildren, Carson Sanchez, Isabelle Sanchez, Pete Liverman.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Berea Baptist Church, 2522 Hickory Grove Road, Gastonia with A Celebration of Life Service to follow at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Berea Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Ivey officiating.
Interment will be private.
