Charlene Carol Berg Jones, born on January 1, 1944, was a cherished presence in the lives of many. With her earthly journey concluding on January 27, 2025, Charlene leaves behind a legacy of love, connection, and an unwavering commitment to family and faith.

Throughout her life, Charlene found joy in the simple pleasures of sewing, a craft that intertwined her creativity with practicality, bringing warmth and comfort to all she touched. She was a devoted family person, relishing the time spent with her loved ones. Her laughter and unwavering spirit made every gathering more joyful, her home a welcoming haven where everyone felt at ease.

Charlene held her church community close to her heart. Spending time at church and nurturing meaningful relationships with her church friends was a vital aspect of her life, reflecting her generous and loving nature. It was within these connections that she radiated warmth, embracing everyone with open arms and a genuine smile.

Charlene is remembered dearly by her beloved sister, Charyle Berg Horney; her special niece, Tina Mitchem (Brad); eight wonderful great nieces and nephews; and a great-great niece or nephew expected within weeks. The love she shared with them will forever resonate in their hearts, instilling cherished memories that will carry on through generations.

Sadly, Charlene reunites in spirit with her parents, Norman and Vada Gilmore Berg; her husband, Eulas Jones; her nephew, Richard Horney; and her brother-in-law, Bill Horney, all of whom she missed dearly.

In the embrace of her loving family, Charlene departed this world, leaving behind a remarkable tapestry of memories woven with love, faith, and countless shared moments. Her upcoming services at the Independent Baptist Tabernacle in Dallas, NC, serve as a testament to her enduring spirit and the lives she touched. Visitation will be held on January 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life on February 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM, concluding with a burial at 11:45 AM.

Charlene Carol Berg Jones will be profoundly missed, but her legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing her.
