Cherryville- Ted Cecil Queen, 84, passed away October 4, 2009 at Meadow Wood Nursing Home. He was a native of Macon County, NC., son of the late Thomas H. and Mamie Icehower Queen. Cecil was a retired farmer and textile worker.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Cook
Survivors are his sons, Don and wife Frankie Queen of Cramerton, Buster Ralph Queen of Cherryville, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren
Memorial service will be 5:00 pm, Saturday, October 10 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel
Family will receive friends following the service
Burial will be private.
The family will be at the home of Don and Frankie Queen, 9 1st Street, Cramerton
