Dallas – Cecil Gwin Anderson, 84 passed away December 15, 2013 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.
He was born January 21, 1929 in Harlan County, KY to the late Edward Walker and Bonnie Marie Stiles Anderson. He was a member of Westview Baptist in Bessemer City NC. Cecil was owner and operator of Acme Fence for over 40 years before retiring.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 65 years Clara Sue Cloninger Anderson who passed away August 3, 2013; a sister Mildred Smith, a brother Jack Anderson
Survivors include his two Sons, Bobby Anderson, Dean Anderson and wife Kelly. Daughter, Linda Alexander and husband Jesse. Eight grandchildren, J.T. Chris, Mark, Brody, Matthew, Daniel Anderson, Kim Waller and Sharon Broadwell; fifteen great grandchildren, Connor, Emma, Parker, Vander, Ainsley, Justin, Karen, Chayse, Ricky, Alyssa, Christopher, Michael, Brannon, Tristan, Madison; and two great great grandchildren, Logan and Harper. And a sister Evelyn Jenkins
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00pm prior to services.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Westview Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating. Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Luke I section with the Releasing of the Doves; Pallbearers will be his grandson and great grandsons
